Adirondacks, New York

In the state of New York, a conversation about camping cannot be had without mention of the Adirondacks. Although not technically a state park, the Adirondacks is New York State’s park. At 9500 sq. mi. the Adirondacks are larger than New Hampshire and encompass more than seventeen percent of the land of New York State. A seemingly infinite number of lakes and campsites make this a weekend warrior or canoe junkie’s paradise.
