Welcome to my blog/travel guide. Take a look around, you never know what you might find!
Everyone has that thing that really gets their juices pumping. For some it’s wildlife, for some it’s the history of a place. What’s your favorite? If I had to chose one, I’d say I appreciate a good canyon more than anything else. I’m always looking for new, exciting, and interesting canyons. I have ranked everywhere I’ve been in a number of categories and awarded them Traveling Beard Awards. I haven’t been everywhere, but I do meticulous research of national parks and monuments, state parks, recreation and conservation areas, and anything else that appears on my radar. I’ve marked places I haven’t actually been to myself with as asterisk* and I give awards to the places I’ve been.
