Hi.

Welcome to my blog/travel guide. Take a look around, you never know what you might find!

Goblin Valley State Park

Goblin Valley State Park

A valley full of unusual rock formations that you can climb on. Hike the scenic trails or freely explore the fairytale-esque hoodoos that give this park its name.

If you’ve ever wanted to get off of the beaten trail and just climb on some rock formations, this is place for you. Hoodoos and gullies are free to climb on, in, and around in this free-for-all geologic theme park. Dogs are allowed too! You can easily spend hours winding through ravines, climbing around on rocks, and crawling through crevices. A number of trails take you to scenic views, but the real fun is meandering through the field of hoodoos. Leave yourself a few hours to explore this truly alien landscape.

STAYING IN THE PARK

The Goblin Valley Campground offers primitive (tent) camping, RV sites, and two yurts if you’re feeling a little less rugged.
